How Dewey's pizza Began
Dewey's pizza was born out of a simple but powerful idea: that great pizza shouldn't be an accident — it should be a craft. In 2009, founder Dewey Harrington opened our first location at 1520 S 5th St in St Charles, MO with little more than a wood-fired oven, a family recipe, and an unshakeable belief in bold, honest flavors.
From day one, deweys pizza was built on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, hand-stretched dough made daily, and sauces simmered from scratch. Word spread quickly through St Charles, and within a year, Dewey's pizza became a staple of the community — the kind of place where neighbors become regulars, and regulars become family.
Today, dewey's pizza continues to honor its roots while pushing the boundaries of what pizza can be. We've added specialty pies, seasonal menus, and a full catering operation — but our commitment to quality and community has never wavered.
